- Salary Range: £200 - £300 per day

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their Operations team to assist driving forward their Balance Sheet Review Project.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring accurate account ownership is in place for all Operations accounts
• Work with all asset classes globally to ensure accurate account ownership and substantiation is in place (all accounts to be supported by an adequate reconciliation)
• Assist in defining the minimum standard requirements for all reconciliations and ensure consolidated metrics are reported across all reconciliations regularly
• In conjunction with the asset class, conduct a detailed review of some of the accounts and where required, define an action plan to address any gaps.
• Document and implement the internal governance model supporting the account ownership and substantiation process
• Manual Journal Review: define an acceptable set of journals that can be passed by each department
• Rationalise and where possible, define actions required by each asset class to minimise the manual journals input by Operations.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, be ACA or ACCA qualified, have previous experience in an investment bank, and prior project experience as well as being proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint and being a team player.
