Assistant Financial Accountant ; Permanent
- Title: Assistant Financial Accountant
- Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000
- Duration: Permanent
Our client is looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to support their Deputy Finance Manager.
Main Responsibilities will include:
• The reconciliation and control of all nostro and suspense GL accounts.
• Settlement of accounts payable.
• The accurate preparation of periodic management reports.
• Maintenance of Fixed Assets register
• Completion of monthly provision, prepaid and depreciation entries
• Completion of customer audit enquiries
• Formulation of new procedures related to work of accounts department
• The accurate preparation of final accounts.
• Contribution to annual budget preparation and control.
• Contribution to corporation tax computations and annual returns.
• Reviewing system generated financial reports for correctness – e.g. GL, P&L, Customer Balance report, Limit utilization reports, Loans report, Revaluation report, etc.
The successful candidate will have professional experience within a banking environment, IFRS knowledge, be proficient in MS Office as well as strong analytical skills.
