Operational Risk Manager; Perm

• Title: Operational Risk Manager
• Salary Range: £40,000-£70,000
• Duration: Perm

Operational Risk Manager

Our client is looking for an Operational Risk Manager to be responsible for risk and control assessments, scenario analysis, incident analysis and for management reporting of operational risk.

Main responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that the key risks within the firm are identified and assessed on a regular basis. Infirm management of changes to the risk profile
• Undertake scenario analysis of the key risks to validate the self-assessments and for capital adequacy purposes
• Responsible for the error tracking and incident database system
• Prepare monthly reports for the Operational Risk Committee and Management Committees
• Assist with the production of the company ICAAPs
• Interact with Senior Management and key Dealing/Trading/Banking Staff.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within an operational risk department covering risk and control assessments, scenario analysis and KRIs, strong understanding of the capital markets business including trade flows, settlements process, an understanding of other operational risks including IT security, BCP, regulatory as well as intermediate Excel skills and exposure to dealing room or exchange floor environment.

Experience of Basel 2 regime is an advantage.
