Our client, a leading successful bank in London has a new exciting position for a SCM Equities Trade Support Analyst. You will join the equities middle office team, who are responsible for providing global support for the SCM Equities business which is involved in structured transactions with large corporate and financial institutions, and manages a large equities financing and derivatives trading business. As a SCM Equities Trade Support Analyst you will be dedicated to providing a trade support function for deals initiated by the Structured Capital Markets desk.
This will hold many key duties including:
* Supporting equities traders with trade execution as required: Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of new trade bookings, terminations, corporate actions and dividends
* Performing daily trade reconciliations to ensure that all trade bookings are correct and in line with trading blotters
* Managing ad hoc requests from Operations and SCM Management
* Liaising with Structuring, Trading, Finance, Settlements, as new trading strategies are developed to ensure that the bookings are reflected accurately across trading systems
* Working with management to develop enhanced controls in line with developments to technology, existing workflow or product offering
* Collating and monitoring relevant MIS reports with the aim of maximising efficiency and control
To be a successful candidate you will be educated to degree level and have previous active involvement in strategic IT projects. Along with this you will have strong equity derivatives product knowledge particularly in relation to Equity Total Return Swaps. Strong knowledge of investment banking processes and operations will be required. You will have strong communication and organization skills.
