Structured Settlements (Derivatives Analyst)

Our client is looking for a Structured Settlements (Derivatives Analyst) who will
Provide support for the Front Office in relation to Securitisation Business. Dealing with clients and their requirements and ensuring all tasks are completed on a timely basis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance of Client spreadsheets Client invoicing for projected cost of funds Instructing External Agent to pay/receive fees from/to clients Liaising with Customer Services re cash movements and investigating any Nostro breaks.
• Obtain monthly reports from External Agent which is used to collate information used for the Rating Agency Report.
• Ensure procedures for all clients are maintained to ensure any changes to the spreadsheets are well documented.
• Monitor and action any mails in relation to Spreadsheet monitoring system and ensure any changes made to the spreadsheets by Front Office are validated via the procedural sign off process.
• Establish close working relationships, at all levels, with both the front office and other support areas (Finance and Control, Customer Services, Security Settlements) in London and New York.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Levels
• Well developed PC skills, especially Excel (macro level)
• Good Derivatives and fixed income product knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willing to take ownership of issues and work under own initiative.
• Excellent time management skills.

Ability to develop in VBA using Excel and Access desirable but not essential.
