Our client, a leading successful investment bank in London has a new exciting opportunity arisen for a Team Manager in the Income area. This job role will hold many key duties including:


• Accountable for day to day activities of the team - provides direction and oversight on day to day responsibilities within the team to ensure business requirements are being met.
• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple issues whilst meeting strict deadlines
•Opportunities to represent the department at external and industry working groups, thereby being at the forefront of market and regulatory changes impacting the core function as well as market harmonization initiatives.
• Resolving and reconciling complex business problems while working with counterparts in other organizations, including external client representatives.
• Conducts ongoing career development conversations with team members - this includes active involvement in one to one feedback sessions and year end reviews, using sessions to provide career coaching and guidance to help develop individuals’ professional performance.
• Participates in the strategic planning of the team providing and soliciting expertise as necessary.
• Demonstrates strong technical and Industry knowledge around European Income and Corporate Action events including workflows, procedures and systems


To be a successful candidate you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have proven leadership skills and corporate actions experience. Along with this you will have strong team player skills and have the ability to work to challenging deadlines and targets. Understanding of a broker dealer environment will also ideally be required.
