Temporary Par / Distressed Secondary Loan Closer; Temporary

• Title: Temporary Par / Distressed Secondary Loan Closer
• Salary Range: Negotiable
• Duration: Temporary

Our client is looking for a temporary Par / Distressed Secondary Loan Closer to maintain a portfolio of LMA secondary loan trades from trade date through to settlement.

Main responsibilities include:
• The drafting and reviewing of LMA distressed and par trade documents; Trade Confirmations, Transfer Certificates, Sub-participation agreements, Multi-lateral netting agreements, Pricing Letters.
• Liaising with trade counterparties, agent banks, legal counsel, both internal and external as required to ensure documents are in order for a smooth settlement.
• Reviewing of Credit Agreements to assess transferability requirements and restrictions.
• Liaising with the Operations trade settlements team to instruct the settlement of trades. Monitor the traders positions to ensure the trade and settled positions are reconciled at all times.
• Keeping senior members of the closing team and trade desk apprised of potential issues with trade settlements.
• Work alongside the KYC team to ensure all internal checks are complete prior to trade settlements.

The successful candidate will have experience within Loan Closing, working closely with trade desk, legal and operations settlements, distressed loan closing experience, solid PC skills as well as excellent communication and organisation skills.
