Our client is looking for a Bank Loans Closer to join their team that supports the origination, syndication and secondary market trading of performing and non-performing loans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will join a team of about 20 professionals involved in covering bank loan trades from execution through closing.
• The role involves (but is not limited to) monitoring trading systems for new trades; confirming said trades with outside clients; ensuring the appropriate internal approvals are obtained; producing and monitoring confirms; drafting transfer documents, and liaising with our servicing team to ensure pricing is produced and trades are settled within our system.
• The role provides a high level of interaction with trading, sales and outside clients, as well as exposure to in-house and external lawyers, compliance, credit, regulatory teams and other Operations areas covering the trading desk.
• The Bank Loans trading desk is a highly demanding business and priorities can change daily.
The successful candidate will be degree educated, have knowledge of distressed bank loans closing, servicing or another operations area, be able to work well under pressure as well as being proactive.
