Equity Derivative Settlements Analyst ; Permanent

• Title: Equity Derivative Settlements Analyst
• Salary Range: Negotiable

Our client is looking for an Equity Derivative Settlements Analyst to be primarily responsible for the reconciliation of Nostro account.s

Main responsibilities will include:
• Reconciliation of Nostro accounts for OTC equity derivatives, covering both equity swaps and options.
• This area is currently going through a growth period in both Asia and the US so the individual will have the opportunity to express ideas and suggestions as part of an ongoing STP workflow project throughout the year.
• You will need to be involved in UAT of any system developments as a result of IT developments.
• The main duties for this role are to reconcile the nostro accounts and pre-settlement balance sheet accounts across all currencies and trading entities for equity derivatives.
• This will require a strong understanding off the underlying products and an ability to liaise with all areas of the business including sales, trading and middle office to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have derivatives settlements experience, Nostro reconciliations experience, an understanding of general ledger accounting as well as equity derivatives product knowledge and strong PC skills.

Experience of using SOPHIS would be an advantage.
