Senior Market Risk Analyst - Metals
Our client is looking for a Senior Market Risk Analyst to raise the profile of risk management within the organisation and enhance the process of embedding a risk management culture.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor risk Limits
• Assist in the identification, management and resolution of all trading risk issues arising from the day to day functioning of the business
• Compare actual exposure to agreed limits
• Follow up on limit breaches
• Standardise and streamline the current weekly and monthly risk reports
• Improve risk measurement structure for existing Limits.
• Define, plan and project manage the execution of the Risk Management initiatives/solutions.
• Develop the required reporting
• Perform risk reviews of key business processes where required, working closely with the internal audit function.
• Identify Risks that may not be captured by the current systems

The successful candidate will be/have:

• Senior Market Risk professional
• Trading / Commodities House background
• Experience of Metals – Physical or Non-physical
• Experience of driving risk policies and strategies
• Strong academic background
• Proven ability to develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
