Operations Project Manager

Our client is looking for an Operations Project Manager to manage project for FX/Treasury/Commodities Operations projects and Develop process control/improvement functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project manager for projects within the Operations team
• Encompassing development of specifications, test plans and coordination between Business, IT, and operations.
• Manage projects initiated by London Operations management.
• Operational Risk mitigation plan management,
• New business initiatives
• Control and efficiency initiatives
• Process improvement
• Represent and coordinate London Operations in GIO projects
• Implement issue tracking and escalation process
• Assist in developing action plans or changes for projects validated by the London Operations Management
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

The successful candidate will have:

• Graduate or equivalent level of qualification
• Demonstrable experience in a similar position - Experienced in cross-border projects involving multi-cultural teams
• The Ability to communicate clearly and easily
• The Capability to develop project plans and manage risks - Full understanding of the main Operations workflows: FX, treasury, cash management or commodities

Previous experience in consulting firm(s) and French language skills would be an asset but are not essential
