The Internal Auditor will in the main be responsible for performing internal audit assignments of all aspects of Banking operations, including but not limited to: appraisal, approval, disbursement, administration, monitoring and divestment.

Key Responsibilities:

• With respect to assigned internal audits, propose an audit engagement plan, perform the audit, and draft a high quality report, all in compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
• Carry out specific ad-hoc responsibilities and tasks as prescribed by the Head or Deputy Head of Internal Audit
• Provide input into the risk-based annual planning process of the Internal Audit Department.

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree from a leading university, preferably with a finance or business focus or other relevant post graduate degree, or professional qualification with over 5 years post qualification experience
• Working knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
• The ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively in English, especially in writing reports to an extremely high standard 
  Experience in an internal or external audit background
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of the business environment in the Bank’s countries of operation and proficiency in the Russian language are not essential skills but would be considered as valuable assets
