Our client is looking for a Buy Side Loan Closer to be part of the Fixed Income Operations team where you will form part of a team of three primarily supporting the CLO business.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for review and settlement of Primary and Secondary loan trades. Knowledge of LMA and LSTA documentation essential.

• Review of due diligence to ensure all representations in documentation are reflected
• Production of KYC documentation of third parties
• Completion of required documentation relating to specific borrower jurisdictions eg. Treaty Clearance Forms, W8BENs, French borrower notifications
• Booking and settlement of all trades in LoanTrak (Transition to Wall Street Office in early 2012) and Aladdin, including any associated fees/paydowns/pik’s
• Involvement in Waiver & Amendments process and liaison with Agent Banks
• Weekly reporting of unsettled and aged trades 
•  Perform and validate trade/hypo tests across various Loan portfolios
• Act as support to the CLO Portfolio Managers and CDO Analysts
• Ensuring that security data is up to date in the internal CDO system
• Process CDO invoices, allocating pro-rata shares across related portfolios

The successful candidate:

• Have a good understanding of loan documentation (LMA/LSTA)
• Be familiar with the loan settlement process 
• Proven experience in their assigned product/functional area
• Experience of CLO structures and testing requirements would also be advantageous
• Working knowledge of other Fixed Income Products such as bonds (High Yield, Corporate or Emerging Market)
