An exciting opportunity has become available for a Corporate Actions/Proxy Associate to join a leading international proxy solicitation agent company based in the City of London.

The Corporate Actions/Proxy Associate will be joining the Debt Issuer Services team and will be working closely with investment banks, law firms and restructuring advisors to help execute bondholder identification assignments and complex bond transactions.

They are looking for an individual with at least 2 year’s experience processing voluntary fixed income corporate actions with strong knowledge of ISO15022 standards and SWIFT interface.

The Corporate Actions/Proxy Associate will include:

· Researching and producing bond ownership reports, and a variety of analyses for issuer clients, often too tight deadlines.
· Improving internal processes, client reports and taking the lead on internal projects.
· Handling multiple projects simultaneously, often under pressure, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and as agreed.
· Assisting the London-based staff to execute identification and agency roles on liability management and debt restructuring transactions.
· Liaising with central securities depositories – Euroclear, Clearstream, DTC, etc, custodian banks and institutional investors to research investments in our clients’ bonds.

The Corporate Actions/Proxy Associate will have:

· Minimum 2 year’s experience processing voluntary fixed income corporate actions, including tender offers, exchange offers and consent solicitations.
· Strong understanding of ISO15022 standards and SWIFT interface for corporate action instructions (MT564, MT565, MT599, etc.)
· Fluency in another European language.
· Proficiency in writing VBA Macros.
· Database management and/or web design/development skills and experience.
· Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced Excel including data manipulation (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint, in particular).
