Our client an international bank based in London are looking to hire a KYC Middle Office AVP, to join their team on a permanent basis. 

This role will involve investigating the customers ownership structure, conduct PEP, negative news and Sanction checks, in line with the current CDD procedures, and collect any supporting documentation required.

Responsibilities of the KYC Middle Office AVP will include: 

  • Working closely with the Front Office teams to ensure that the onboarding / reviews of clients are signed off within the prescribed deadline and that any additional information that may be required, is sought as soon as possible.
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc MI reporting as to the status of the files under their control. 
  • In control of the KYC onboarding of new clients into the Bank, as well as assisting with the KYC periodic reviews of the existing client base. 
  • Working closely with the PD LCD Sanctions / Forensics teams should the investigations highlight areas that require more in-depth analysis. 

Successful KYC Middle Office AVP will have: 

  • Previous experience working within a KYC team in the financial sector. 
  • Strong KYC CDD experience. 
  • Formal training in CDD / KYC is a necessity. A recognised industry qualification in these areas would be beneficial. 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
