cer Financial are working alongside a bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Deputy Financial Controller to work with them on a permanent basis.

The Responsibilities of a Deputy Financial Controller Will Include:

· Prepare of statutory returns
· Prepare/review Monthly Management Accounts – ‘Excel’
· Prepare annual expenditure budget and expected revenue statement for adoption by General Management
· Preparation of VAT returns and Inland Revenue returns
· Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards
· Liaise with bank’s external and internal auditors, tax, pension and other specialists
· Prepare P11d’s
· Review PAYE calculations
· Process payment for the Bank’s general expenses and taxes
· Advise staff on basic income tax matters and prepare tax returns
· Advise General Management on accounting and compliance matters
· Accounting for travel expense, company credit cards, purchase ledger, representative office expenses
· To prepare the Annual Report and Financial Statements in accordance with FRS 102.

The Successful Deputy Financial Controller Will Have:

· Experience of NT server, Windows 9X, Microsoft Office, T24, networking and Swift would be an advantage and provide emergency cover for IT Manager
