I have been in the financial services recruitment business since 1996, placing Finance and Operations professionals into many of the top Banks and Investment Houses in London. During this time I have built a solid knowledge of the industry.

 

In 2002, I established cer Financial as I felt there were very few agencies offering clients and candidates a specialist recruitment service. My vision was to create an consultancy where recruitment consultants would work within one dedicated niche vertical market and were specialists within this area.

 

The company currently consists of technically trained consultants, an accounts department, a marketing officer, an office manager and an administrational and compliance support staff.

 

I place a firm focus on training and development and subsequently have created over 200 training sessions. I carry out these training sessions on a daily basis and ensure that consultants attend at least one training session per week. I believe that by following this approach the consultants at cer Financial are confident and competent when talking to clients and candidates.

 

cer Financial utilitise an in house database built over fourteen years that boasts just over 200,000 searchable candidates. In certain specialist genres like compliance and risk, we have nearly 2000 candidates, coded, summarised, salaried and a large percentage met face to face.

 

In addition to the above having run large tranches of test data in some of our specialist desks over 50% of the candidates coded are not on linked in!
