West End

Hybrid work pattern

cer Financial are working alongside a well-established and well-structured international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking Business Payments Analyst to work with them on a temporary basis for 12 months.

The Responsibilities of the Business Payments Analyst Will Include:

· Be both strategic and tactical for the payments operations of the bank, taking responsibilities for planning and scoping various payment system changes.
· Scope business requirements and processes to map with documentation to maintain the change roadmap.
Essential technical knowledge in multiple payment areas:
– Clear understanding of payment systems principles and practices
– Agency Bank – (FPs) Faster Payments Operating procedures
– Agency Bank – BACS Scheme Rules
– Agency Bank – Credit Payments Recovery (CPR Claims) management
– Agency Bank – BACS AUDDIS, ARUDD, ARUCS and DDIC processing
– Swift ISO 15022 MT based formats with direction to transform business processes into MX based formats.
– Swift ISO 20022 PAIN, PACS, CAMT formats
– NPA ISO20022 Faster Payment, DD, SO and CHAPS

The Successful Business Payments Analyst Will Have:

· Ideally minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
· Understanding of banking instruments, procedures and dealing practices.
· Knowledge of various range of payment services include SWIFT, BACS, FPs, and Electronic Clearing
· Knowledge of PSD/PSD2 is an advantage but not essential.
· Understanding and knowledge of business processes management and systems
· Design automation for the use of technology as an enabler of high-quality services and performance levels.
· Good analytical, reporting and spreadsheet skills.
· Innovative and commercially astute individual with expertise in payments area in regulated financial services.
